Default How to change the small light in the door?

Does anyone know where to get that replacement bulb for the door? It's the small light that illuminates the lock and window switch. It's a camaro. Thanks

Good question!!

I couldn't get mine out and finally it broke - when I broke it, I couldn't get the glass remains out from the plastic plug - in the end - I had to go to the dealer and order the plastic plug (the one that holds the light bulb - also note - it's 2 plastic parts - a dark gray one and a black one) and a new light blub. I ended up paying $20 in total.

So if anyone has any info on making this easy - please post

wrap tape around it (the bulb) a few times and spiral it up. It'll create a "handle" you can pull on.

Get it?

After fighting with mine and not getting it out I said screw it and don't have any lights still. Only a couple buttons anyway, I can remember which is which in the dark.

I've been thinking about replacing those lights, but do they get incredibly stupid super hot like the ash tray light?

If I recall correctly, the bulb number is in the lighting sticky.
