04 cobra and srt- 4

04 cobra and srt- 4 So i was driving home from work at night and saw a nice 04 cobra, sounded awesome...he said it was stock except the exhaust.
we decide to run when the light turns green...he let off at about 95mph and i was about 1.5 cars ahead so i was pretty happy. We wave and go our separate ways.
Later that night an dumdumdumdumdum comes next to me...he said it was brand new and stock. we both go when the light turns green and we're dead even the whole time, it actually surprised me.
Could a stock dumdumdumdumdum actually do this? pretty awesome if they can
i admit i could use a better driver mod
oh i have a 99 ws6 m6 vert, h/c/i and bolt ons

A stage 1 stock Neon shouldn't come close to you especially from a stop. They can come from the showroom with a higher stage though but I don't know what numbers they produce. Your car stock should be able to beat a stock SRT.

Thats what i thought..either me and the cobra guy suck at driving or he has some money put into the neon. Or both, hehe
