Default Cam Questions on a budget for power

Ive got a 1999 Z28 a4 car with slp lid, all the free mods, longtubes or shortys soon, tune=all torque management bs turned off amongst other goodies bumped up or down.. I have not cats to a magnaflow dumped. Im on a very very tight budget and im buying some ls6 valvesprings tomorrow so im looking for a good cam to run with these... Im getting a custom ground cam or what they call a re-grind from a well known shop... they can grind about anything.. So my questions is whats a good cam that I can get or have ground out of my stocker thats good to 570 lift... i really dont want just an ls6 cam so is there something alittle better maybe a ls6 cam but turned to 112 lsa or maybe a hotcam but instead of 525 lifts on both side what about 550 lift on both sides... I love the sound of the hotcam and if choppy were what I was going after id get a magic stick 3.... So what would be something good that sounds great and also delivers too with my ls6 springs??? thanks for any advice....... probably going to run a 11 inch v6 4l60e converter but have it rebuilt to hold 3000 rpm

Dont waste your time on ls6 springs, Get real springs and then you can get any cam.

I really like the old 224r on a 112 lsa. You can do it with a stock stall long as you get it tuned.

If you MUST use the ls6 springs i think the hot cam is your only choice

Consider the Comp Cams LS6 Street Replacement cam.
212/218........550/550......115 LSA. No tuning required, works with stock converter.
LS6 Springs? They will handle any cam up to .570 lift. GM used them in the Corvette race cars. Lingenfelter Performance uses them. Gm says they will last for 100K miles.
