Same thing happened when my brother wrecked my T/A many years ago, but the bag actually came out but didn't even inflate. Hope his is ok.

On nother note airbags go bad...

Another note... If it was me the airbag wouldnt go off and when its all said and done ill sit back in my car and then slam my head into the steering wheel... going FUCKKKK and then THEN!!!! It will go off.... yep.... just my luck

The one in my 96 Cobra worked correctly! I crashed into a soft snowbank, the AIR BAG light came on but the bag did not deploy. I thought it was going to blow up in my face after the fact.

After I sold the car to my bro he crashed it into something solid! The bag did deploy and save his ***...er...face.
