Default Ford charging Gas guzzling TAX.. WTF?

So a buddy took a picture when he was at Rodeo ford..
I guess they have a saleen and some cobra that is 700HP...??????

but either way the sticker on the window has a deal I have not seen..

Says..

GAS GUZZLING TAX on sticker... EST: 1300.00/year.

WTF..
So now a days if you buy a car that has a v8, you get a gas guzzling tax added on... So that is on top of the tax that we pay up the *** for on the gas itself... but now we have to pay more tax since we want to pay for alot of gas.. LOL...

Is this only FORD... or does anyone know if all car dealers are doing this?

they have been doing it for years, the 04 GTO's had a GG tax on the a-4, but you paid $1000 extra for the 6-speed, so the price came out to be the same in the end...

I don't think any manufacturer has anything to do with this. My chrysler had a 2100 GG Tax. Stupid Government!

I remeber A4 F-bodies having this when I was looking back in 2000, 2001. This is nothing new. Expect it to get worse with the liberals in control and a known socialist in charge of environmental policies. Hell, there was talk about charging farmers/ranchers a tax on cattle and pigs for methane emissions.

There's a "death tax" too. Nice, isn't it?

It's actual name is "Estate Tax", but it has been given the nickname "death tax".

Yep. When your loved ones die, the government taxes you (the inheritor) a certain percent of the estate's value. How thoughtful of them.

The first gas guzzler tax I saw was on the 95 Viper.

This is not a new idea.

It was not just on V8s and "gas guzzling cars" to my knowledge it was more on the extreme cars such as the V10 Dodge Viper, and Saleen S351s, things of those magnitude. I don't think that any regular joe blow car had one tacked on.

I could be wrong however.
