Default Air Pump

When I got my headers installed I had my car tune and removed the EGR/air hoses but my air pump still runs. I read on some post on here to pull the fuse. Would this cause any other issues by pulling that fuse. Also in my owners manual I notice the fuse states Air pump\bleed valve what is the bleed valve. I also notice there is a relay for the air pump.

No, pull the fuse or the relay, as long as the codes are turned off, it will not turn on the MIL. Or just take the air pump off the car. The bleeder valve is part of the AIR system as well.

Yeah just pull the fuse. On mine removing it throws P0412 with secondary air still intact.
