Chevrolet Camaro 1967-2002 - Your Dream/Favorite Camaro??

Ok.. so i got this idea after running around in the 67-02 firebird column on here...

SO.. If you were to pick your Top 3 Camaro's what would they be, and give me some reasons why...

Its only right to at least dream right? Or if you do have 3 of them- then list em up!!! :D

Mine have to be;

1. 70 L34 Bigblock 4-speed - bought when i was 16- still have it..
2. 67 Yenko 427 4-speed (blue of some sort..) ive always loved the 67's- since everyone wants a freakin 69...
3. 01 SS procharged.. - so fun to drive..


Post up what you like, want.. dream about- im curious- and i think this will bring up some pretty good comments along the way.

1. 69 rs/ss with twin turbo lsx 454 pro tour.
2. 69 zl1 copo
3. new 2010 vert with ls9 in that bad boy.

'67 Aluminum Block 540 Pro Touring. Candy, candy magenta, bitches! (in progress).

2002 LS1 T-56 T-top in that nice gold color.

70 Nickey 454 4 speed. any color but white.

My 1967 Camaro rs/ss that I'm restoring...it sexy...even in primer and rust : )

mine i have right now (pewter '00 SS A4 ttop)

yenko hands down. simply b/c i could sell it and build the others.

1970 split bump Candy Apple Red with White SS strips with a 427-Saw one when I was a kid and that is what got me hooked on Camaros

Top 3 Stockers:

- 1970 Baldwin/Motion 454 (green with white/black)
- 1997 LT4 SS (stripes stripped)
- 1989 IROC-Z (black/gray, L98)

I gotta pick one from each generation
1st. '68 SS396 4-spd in black
2nd. '80 Z28 4-spd Silver
3rd. '90 Z28 1LE
4th. '02 SS 345hp 6-spd vert Red

my top three would be:

1. any year 1st gen. with LS1 and some sort of charger. probably super or pro. black on black. maybe silver on black.

2.1986-1990 black iroc with the TPI 350 built and supercharged.

3.1996-1997 LT1 SS. black. t-tops. M6. with gray leather. and the anniversary package. it would be modded. just not sure what i would do to it. to go along with the SS a 30th anniversary LT4 (white with orange strips.) would be great also.



theres many many more that i want. but it doesn't hurt to dream. a 70 split bumber Z28 would be great too.

^^^ thats so beautiful. do you have any other pictures of it? to go along with the iroc i want. it would have to have t-tops also.

Second Gens are Much Sexier then a first Gen, Hands Down.

I love first gens, but 2nd gens just look sleeker and meaner. I'd love both but i'd pick a 2nd if i had the choice.

I have a 1st and 2nd Gen and I would sell the '67 long before the '72.. Not only is my '72 in better shape, but it has a much better look and not played out as bad as the 1st Gens..

Super stock, just like they rolled off the dealership. I don't appearance mods to try to make it stand out. Just keep it nostalgic and old-school. These cars got all the character they need.

Welll to begin. Why was there no 67 Z/28's on the list.

Before Number 1 though they made a 67 stack intake 396 car that was f***ing bad ass and was just a show car there were only believed to be two made. One is still around the other one was a yellow one seen on an advertisment broucher. I WANT that beast. I have some pictures on my other computer I will have to post some its unelievable.

3) 69 Baldwin
4) 69 Yenko or Mickey or something similiar

I would take the 2002 ZL1 Phase III now that I looked into it too pretty bad.

Well the 67 Z/28 RS is rare, but I prefer the 69 body style. Rarity would make me less prone to drive it, And I want to drive the car, not just let it sit and take it out for car shows. But its all personal preferance.

I use to have a 1967 RS/SS 350/4 speed All Wheel Disc Brake from the factory.. I sold it when I was hurting for money.. :(
