Does anyone know is the LS2 Timing Chain Dampener 12588670 will work on the iron LQ4/9 blocks?

It will work on some...to check, look at the front main journal right above the crankshaft...if it has two holes centered above the crank, that's the two holes for that dampner. If the holes are not there, it wasn't meant to be

There's an image (with my awesome MS Paint skills) that shows in green where the two holes will be.
