Default Lookin at installin a TSP 233/239 112LSA on my SS!!!

Would this cam be a good match for my setup ? My SS has 63xxx miles on it. Its my D/D for now, but wont be for long. I have a LS6 vice a LS1 engine, with all the bolt ons. Right now my SS is putting down 370rwhp un-tuned. What kind of gains will i get with this cam after a dyno tune. Any suggestions or input ?

Too many factors to say what you will gain. You will probably be around 410whp cam only.

my experience with that cam is its a pretty decent camshaft. it also tunes well with the proper tuner.

Just make sure you get the supporting valvetrain:

Springs with seats, retainers, and locks
hardened pushrods (measure for proper length)

Optional, but recommended:

ported LS6 oil pump
LS2 timing set.

You can get all of the above in a cam swap kit from TR or TSP.

Here is a link to a cam sale I have going.

https://ls1tech.com/forums/western-c...5-shipped.html

I can get you the supporting mods as well (Pushrods, Springs, etc...)

Hey SRJ, did the valvespring tool work for you? Do you still need it? Let me know when we can meet up I would like to get that back for some upcoming cam swaps.

I bought the cam, its in the mail
Will my stock LS6 heads (243) castings support this cam. Do i really need to upgrade the Springs with seats, retainers, and locks, and hardened pushrods ?

you should at the bare minimum get new pushrods and springs.

and also i would throw some dual springs on there just in case one breaks you still got the other one holding the valve up preventing you from having to replace the engine, plus you get a lot more spring life from dual springs.

Your 243's will work fine. Yes, you need to get new springs and pushrods. You can get a cam swap kit that should have the springs w/ seats, locks, and retainers.
