JP Performance double row timing set.. anyone use it?

Default JP Performance double row timing set.. anyone use it?

well originaly when i was going to do my cam swap i was ganna go with a LS2 chain and gears but yesterday i went across this JP performance double row billet timing set for $85 on patriots website and was shocked on that low price then went to speed inc and they where almost the same price and the LS2 it like $100 bucks so im wondering if anyone uses that chain set and how its holding up... i much rather have a double than a single chain, let me know thanks

I personally would go with something that has been tried and tested by numerous people. You really don't know until people break parts!

I run one. bought mine local from new era last year no problems. Ive used a lot of them, even with the melling oil pumps, just need to check and clearnece were needed.

I have a JP I got from New Era also in late 2007, but I haven't used it yet.

You need to make sure the oil pump doesnt hit the front cover. If so, you just need to clearance where it hits.

$85 from Patriot is a good find, as long as it comes with new mounting hardware, which I assume it does. I haven't been able to find them for under $100 anywhere. I will be buying one of these soon.
