Yeah my guess was about 175lbs but everyone says it weighs more than that. Im thinking 250-275lbs might be closer?
Be great if someone thats actually shipped one could tell us. If not...I will take it to the local CAT scales and pay $9 to get it weighed...haha.

With crank, pistons, and everything assembled its pretty damn heavy.
I busted my *** taking mine out the back of my pickup and onto an engine stand by myself...but I'm not exactly a huge guy - except for where it counts of course .

Block is probably 180lbs, crank is 55-62 depending who you ask, pistons and rods are all individually over 1lbs apiece, oilpump etc. it all adds up fast. IMO 275 without a pallet is probably a good guess.
With freight adding weight is not always a bad thing because they have formulas for density and for some reason light but big stuff costs more than heavy items. When I shipped a tranny from work our packout guy added some weight in extra protection and actually caused shipping to drop $20. Point being make sure it is secure, the additional weight wont cost as much as you might think.
