One of my friends from the Marines said that his SS (beileve it was a 99) came with a HUD.... my 02 does not have one and the C5's do.. I'm just wondering if anyone out there sells them to fit my 02 SS or I would be abel to get one out of a C5 and install it into my SS....

I have never seen it done and I've done a lot of research on it (I also made a post about putting one from a GP into my Firebird). Do it and make a write-up. Also do a search on Tech for "heads up display"

Defi still makes a unit that will install in your car, but it's more complex and it no longer reflects off of your windshield like the old one did. It uses a really tacky reflector that mounts on top of your dash pad. You may be able to try and make an eBay unit work... Myself, I will be trying a Grand Prix HUD...
