The little black box about 2 inches long on top of the intake. It is on passenger side top close to the tb. Where can I get a new one?

Yep, and it's pretty much the same thing on all the GM vehicles except boosted ones,given they're the same brick style with the offset hole. We just replaced one in a 97 S10 with the 2.2 with one out of a late 80s 4.3 (which is the same as the TBI 5.0 and 5.7s). So, it should be pretty inexpensive! If you have a MAF rig though, what makes you think you need a new one? (Just curious)
