i accidentally deleted all my hp tuners tune files on my computer...wasnt paying attention and hit shift+delete.... is there any way that i can retrieve the files, or are they lost for good?

yeah, but im trying to do this quick before the old space gets written over...
yeah, if you have a 2002 pcm i have unlimited credits....if not i have to get em...
is it done?

you should be able to recover them, there is software out there. nothing gets deleted from hard drives, just written over.

right...i downloaded something called virtuallab from download.com...its still scanning right now, so im not sure exactly whats gonna happen...

if you can do it i will...the program i downloaded will tell you what files you can restore, but makes you pay to save em back to you comp...so freakin lame

Stop using that PC!! Take the hard drive out, put it into another PC. Then scan it using the OTHER pc... You are overwriting things irrecoverably by using it. I say irrecoverably because the only way after that is to spend $2,000+ or give it to a buddy that works for the NSA. So, stop using the computer. Take the drive out, and have somebody else recover the files. I'd offer but it's kind of a long drive from south Orange County (where I have my recovery station)...
