Fueling & Injection - What injectors for my cam/boltons?

I ordered a torquer 2 cam kit (232/234) from TSP and they have my PCM for a mailorder tune. I got to thinking I should probably upgrade my injectors while they have the PCM so it can be tuned for it.

I did the RC engineering calculator, and based on 450 fwhp it shows 31 lb/hr injectors. Does that seem right? And what would I be looking at if I add a set of heads later down the road?

I was just going to call TSP but they're closed today. I might as well order all of my stuff at once.

It's cam only, full boltons 2000 z28.

I would recommend Bosch Design III 36 lb/hr @ 3 bar injectors. Compare prices with FICINJECTORS (http://www.fuelinjectorconnection.com) before you order from anywhere else, they have the best prices going on these injectors.

Here's the calculation I used. 31 lb/hr @ 3 bar is the MINIMUM, but with the modifications you list you would be best with a 36 lb/hr @ 3 bar injector.

Link to injectors: Any size between 32 - 48 lb/hr @ 3 bar (http://fuelinjectorconnection.com/shop/index.php?_a=viewProd&productId=179)

You can use pretty much what ever size you want to an extent. If you plan on upgradeing in the future keep that in mind. I had a set of the ls1 style injectors built and flowmatched by FICINJECTORS and they are great. They are the later design bosch injector basicly the same injectors that come in a ls1. I had mine built to the same flow specs as the green to 42s so I would have room for a dry shot or room to grow later.

Thanks very much guys, and I agree with 405, a 36 would suit you very well.

PM me or make sure to use the code in my sig to get a shipping discount.
