Default PP S2 Heads, TSP 228R, Pacesetter LTs = DYNO result

I went to the dyno today and ran 391 RWHP while running very LEAN (15s). I am guess I should easily break the 400s, more like 420, when I get the PCM fuel tables tuned. I am still using the stock ls1 intake too, so a few a couple more mods should put me around 450 RWHP. Thanks to Chris (Whistler) who did all the mechanic work, both Jason at TSP and Terry at Patriot Performance for providing great customer service. Can someone please look at my TQ curve and give me a reason to why the graph is all of the place.

Great numbers, but PLEASE richen that car up some before running it to WOT again.. that is REALLY REALLY lean. You'll pick up some good power with the correct tune.

With a tune your going to pick up a good amount of power.

rule of thumb

lean - more HP
rich more Tq

13.7 is considered perfect for power

too lean = knock retard and loss of power..not to mention those nasty increased combustion temps that degrade your engine.. 12.9 is what you need to shoot for

Ditto. 12.8 to be cautious. A 13.7 or higher afr with a high dyno # don't mean jack if the motor goes boom FWIW.

i;d go 12.9 at peak power for safety... man you have a tidle wave type graph.. its a big jump around peak power from nowhere. IOnce you get her tuned in she will be in the 410-420's im sure

With a pulley, LS6 intake and some PCM editing there is an easy 30 horespower to be gained.

Wow man be careful with air fuel like that!! I'm glad your happy with the setup though, your running that cam on a stock tune? Nice #'s though!

You really need to get that thing tuned so we can see what she's really doing.

If you need a ls6 intake drop me a e-mail, I have a few left at the 365 shipped price

Yep dont hammer the car with AF that lean. Richen it up to around 12.8:1 at torque peak and 13:1 at RWHP peak. Different setups like different AF's so you may need to play a bit.

Cheers,
Chris
