3 runs against 02" CETA First on the way to Kemah was a nasty sounding 2001 black vert Saleen with big meat in the back. We have a quick run from 50-100. We took off and I grabbed a quick length in 2nd, shifted to 3rd and put another 1.5 cars on him...ended at 100 2.5 cars up.
On the way back had a 98' Cobra pull up beside me. Car had a blower but not sure what else. We took off at 60 and ran to about 110 with me 2 cars up on him. this car ran with me better than the Saleen which kind of surprised me...Saleen looked mean.
(Video posted below)) We had a meet in Mexico, Brazil late and I had 3 runs with a 06' WRX STI running 1/2 race gas, large turbo, and about 500 or a little better to the wheels. I sprayed and we ran the first at 50 and he got a jump and took a length initially but was able to get back to even with him by mid 4th..shut down.
Ran the 2nd from about 40-50 and got an even jump and was able to pull a 1/4 car in 2nd, added another 1/4 in 3rd, and another 1/2 in 4th to about 125-130 edging him by 1.5 cars.
3rd race we left evenly at 45 and about the same pull as before but ran to about 150 with me almost 2 cars up. He was a super nice guy and was a pretty sick WRX.
Said was running 26lbs of boost but with pure race gas runs 30 lbs. We will try again and i will up the shot. All of these runs were made with me spraying (my system rates crank hp) so was a 100 crank but probably 85 wheel..
had a 20 roll run with Ex-SS-VE with me just on motor and he jumped about 3/4 car initially through 2nd, was able to creep back a bit in 3rd, and pulled better to about even in 4th and we shut it down. Good run between both of us..pretty evenly matched motor to motor.
