Procharger+ nitrous?
I've always wondering is it possible to use 75 shots on 347 running 15psi on a D1SC?
Current setup:
forged 347 9.5 compression ratio
stock LS1 heads
226/228 113+3

just be sure you have enough fuel, and pull timing accordingly.... but anything is possible.. it will put additional strain on the engine, tranny, rear etc... so eventually somthing will break. so if its sensible is up to you really

Go for it!!! I can't (don't want to) spray mine at the current level, It was fun to use in the past, but at the current level I don't want to push the stock short block above 850, I just don't have enough faith that she'd take it...

Chris 761rwhp no N2O now, when I last sprayed the car she was only making 620rw on boost, and she'd make an extra 120rw on the juice (100 dry shot)... but now at 761 If I spray it that'll put me at ~880rw, and I know the stock short block won't like that much...

Once I get my new fuel pumps and the flip drive in I'm going for 1000rwhp.

I think due to the bigger cubes I may benefit more than you, but I picked up 250rwhp so far on a 100 shot. Went from 700rwhp to 950rwhp while still pretty rich. I had 800rwhp by 5000rpm on the spray. Best part is running 91 octane with 109 in the fuel cell.

be nioce tio see the intake temps before and after spraying to see just how much cooler the intake is. shows how much power could be had with more efficent intercooling.....
be nice to see someone REALLY pushing their FI setup with N2O. has anyone ever run say a 250shot into a boosted LS motor??? if it netted you say 400bhp a 600bhp DD could turn into a 1000bhp monster with a little gas.

Remember when you start to mix power adders, their overall affects are not cumulative. I have seen many FI setup put on a 100hp shot and pick up 150 to 175 rwhp. When you do mix them, you need to make sure you tune is right on or your car will be a ticking time bomb.

This is true. I already backed my timing down so I'll only dyno 700 or so rwhp as opposed to my 750 on 91 octane. This way I grab the kit, only 100 shot, that has it's own 109 fuel supply for more safety. I also went to a colder plug.

whats your feeling on the effect of N2O on the motor compeard to more boost? would adding a 100shot (ok it will be adding more pwer than that) to make say 1000bhp be safer than upping the boost to make the 1000bhp?? would it be easier on the motor?
thanks

I think its a great idea! should keep things nice and safe when spraying.

I also don't think your going to be able to hit those numbers with a 347 and a D1SC without nitrous. Your going to have to step it up to a bigger blower and motor to get numbers of 1000+ IMO.

In order for me to make the jump from 750rwhp to my goal of 1000rwhp with only boost, I would have to get a new head unit, bigger injectors with the corresponding controller, maybe new manifold and who knows what else. Then to do it on pump may still not have been enough.
I think the motor can't really tell where the air is coming from whether it be compressed or a gas. Therefore, I think it's best if you reach your goal with boost first, then add on when you're maxed or you're wasting money.
