Default looking for a turbo kit

i am selling my bike to make my car faster. i was wondering if anyone has done a turbo kit on one of there gxp. if you could can you send me the website of where you bought your kit from. i was also wondering if a sts rear mount turbo kit would be ok?

Do a search on this forum and you will find info on the Cartuning Turbo kit for LS4. I have it and the car is absolutely amazing with the kit. A couple others have it as well. Drop kevin an email, tell him mark sent you....

whats the basic boost set at? also what are some 1/4 times with the turbo

I think Jay run it at 8psi and 12psi...

basic boost level is between 6 &14psi depending on if you have the cut-out (that comes with the kit) open or closed, you should have 450 plus whp with just the kit.

6 psi for about a month. Trany holding up fine. I don’t have the cartuning tune, got a Zippy tune with a lot of torque management, so that the stock trany don’t go boom.

how much frwhp can the tranny hold

a tranny cooler would help

Depends, if you run on slicks or have run the car before the turbo kit with slicks and weakened the input shaft. You will more than likely break the stock input shaft with slicks at some point. But, there are upgrades out there that will take the power.

so it would be running from a roll,might buy you some time before the tranny blows?

Get the trans built up man and do it right. Why would you pay that money not to use the power?
