Well if you can't zip tie them out of the way your best bet would be to run the "over the top valve cover" style. A lot of guys do this because of your exact issue and because it looks nice!

Just ordered my set of OTVC MSD's from 99blancoss, a member here. Cant wait to get them. They were at a great price too. OTVC is going to be so much better.

the hooker LT's are obviously different from the pacesetters i run but i run the wires on the drivers side in the factory location, on the passenger side you have to get a little creative with zip-ties and what not so you dont burn wires.

i as well have some heat sleeves around the wires on my passenger side, just be patient and make good use of zip ties it can be done

or you could get the over the valve cover wire set from thunder as previously mentioned

I like the OTVC kits, but I am using the stock location right now, but I have Accel heat insulating sleeves on all of the plug wires, so far it works great.

Thanks for the responses. Do any of you have some pictures of this set up? Oh and did you just use the 8 mm wires or upgrade?

They look sweet, try a search for pictures, and I'd go with MSD 8.5 wires.

Think he got what you sad

I cant go with the popular vote on this one, I think the over the valve cover looks tacky. If the plugs are ran in the stock location you shouldnt burn any. Take some time to directionally locate the boots and wires going away from the header.

I did have to use one heat sleeve that accel makes on the third cylinder back on the drivers side. Cured the problem though before it burned up a wire (running the msd 8.5s).

Good luck whichever way you go.

Agreed, running any wires in stock locations (tucked nicely) with heat insulating sleeves will work perfectly. I too and using the Accel heat sleeves on all of my wires (Duralast 7mm wires) routed through the stock locations with no problems.

I burned about 5 wires after my header install. I eventually got with 99blancoSS to make me a set of MSD 8.5mm wires that would fit with a Made-For-You OTVC kit which I purchased. I should not have that problem ever again

I used DEI protect-a-boots for 90* boots and zip tied them on, then I ran them away from the headers (I have hooker ceramic coated LT's) and I only had to use a few zip ties. Oh I also picked up some Moroso plug wire seperators at O' Reilly's for cheap and they helped quite a bit keeping them away from the primaries.
