Trouble choosing a stall
I have searched this topic and I still don't have an answer.
My issue is that I will be spraying at least a 100 shot. I like the Yank PT4000 but I know this isnt a nitrous converter. I say max shot would be a 150 shot.
My friend had a MS4 paired with a SS4000. I wasn't impressed with his top end on the car. Now this could have been the MS4s fault.
I need a converter that will do decently out of the hole, handle a 100-150 shot and not drag *** on the top end.
I had Pat G spec me a cam. It's in the 232/234 .612/.598 111 lsa range
Thanks for any insight you might have.
I'll most likely be giving Yank and Circle D a call tomorrow

a lower static torque ratio will be a little more efficient on the top end.
stickies have a lot of information about that - even has a chart that helps you visualize the *** dragging characteristics between configurations.
