Default cracking problems with FAST 90/90???

I just recieved my new FAST lower intake piece last night. When i bought my car the lower portion of the manifold was cracked in a couple places, which i believe was due to the bolts being overtightened. Has anyone else had this issue or did i just get a dud? I just finished putting my intake together and am going to put it back on the car, any tips? It seems like a simple process, but i dont want to fugg something up and end up being out another $300 I was told the bolts do not need to be very tight.

Make sure to replace the valley cover bolts with the button head bolts provided or else expect another cracked lower intake shell!!

I remember specifically when I was installing mine how much the instructions said "do not overtighten the bolts" If I remember correctly they say to use two passes. Something like 35-40 in/lbs on the first pass and 89in/lbs on the final pass.
