Default Which cam for LS2 430whp??

Looking to make at least 430whp in my LS2 350z before a 100 shot...whats a good cam to use to make around that with all bolt ons? Ill be using 1.875" long tubes out to a single 3" with a cutout.

Stock heads? Stock intake? Are you looking to be just cam only? Do you want to flycut the piston's or leave them as is w/o the valve relief's?

We did a G5x-1 with a 90mm fast and all supporting bolt ons with stock heads and made great power and tons of usable torque

You are going to be running too tight of PTV clearance with a MS4 cam in my opinion. I would stay in the high 220's to mid 230's on your cam, just like hellbents10 recommended. Here are a couple of other cams to look at:

-TSP Torker V.2
-Futral F-13-112
-Predator Z "El Toro"
-Thunder Racing TR230/224-111
-Vengeance VRX4

Why?? Your stock intake will not make power up there. These cams will pull to 6700-6800 rpm, after that your stock rods/piston's won't like you very much and will only last so long before they say I've had enough. The cams will also meet your HP needs that you wanted, so again why do you want a larger cam (bragging rights??).

Our TRak cam normally makes 435RWHP in LS2 Vettes with the usual bolt ons. PLENTY of top end... it will pull past 7K if you want it to.

Specs 231/234 .640"/.595" 112

Thanks,
Shane

you'd recommend that over the MS3?

I think the fact that im putting an LS2 in a 350z will be enough....and I like the power delivery of bigger cams..

I really didn't compare it, I just know that the TRak routinely makes that power level in an LS2 Vette and pulls like a bitch upstairs. Even though the duration numbers are smaller, the cam will most likely act bigger due in part to the high lift intake lobe and tighter LSA. We have run that cam on LS2's with out of the box AFR's and made 480-490...

Our Stinger cam normally makes 425-440 rwhp on an LS2 with ported intake and tb. It also runs very hard at the track. Here is an example on a 2005 C6 we just finished up. 224/230 113+2
