New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Manual Rack Worth it?

I am about to put a tubular k and a steering rack in. Is a manual rack worth it. How is drive ability? I only take the car out about 2 or 3 times a week.

It's fine if you run skinnies, sucks with stock sized or bigger tires. ;) I ran one for a while.

Yeah i have a set of pro stars at the house just don't run them all the time, thanks for the advice.
