Default How to unplug harness on opti?

I am trying to determine if my opti or the wiring to it is bad and need to disconnect the electrical harness. Is it possible to remove the connector without tearing everything apart? I can see the connection on top of the opti, but there is no way I can even touch it, is there a trick to unplugging it or am I going to have to tear everything apart to look at it?

Its a 1993 Formula A4 w/ vented opti

Thanks

Some parts stores carry a tool that resembles a dental pick, that might get the job done:

I figured it out, I took a clothes hanger and bent it so i could slide it around the clip and just eased up on it and it came loose. The inside did have some cooper colored streaking on it so I sprayed everything down with electrical cleaner and will see if that works. The wiring itself looks good and tests ok, so we will see what happens.

Thanks!

Well....Now it's throwing a constant code 16 and won't start at all. Time to take it to my parents to tear it apart.

If the wiring tests out ok and you're getting that code then the opti is fried.
