Default PROJECT delayed because of violent shudder!!

hows everyone doing? im doing pretty shi**y.

i have been putting this car together for almost a year now, since i was in college and doing it at the same time..its taking me quite sometime. But i am patient when it comes to expensive investments.

okay moving on, i have a mildly built 5.3L in an old camaro tuned and ready to go. I also have a built 700r4 with trans go stage 2 shift kit, and some other beefed up parts. i went with a Daaco torque converter around 2800-3200 stall. my problem now after driving for a mile or two is shudder, violent shudder. I can almost predict when its going to start, my rpms drop and it trys to stall the engine completely and its rough. I can turn the car off, and wait then start again.... go about a mile and it comes back. my TC solenoid was my first guess...so i removed my toggle switch for it...so that it cant engage at all. i dont want to believe that the tranny is gone, cuz its fairly new. but i cant seem to not think its the torque converter. all the symptoms of my TC slipping and clunking are here to stay.

Sorry for such a long and thorough post, just looking for a long and thorough answer. lol

some tips of what i know as far as right now:
-tcc is disengaged
-TV cable is adjusted right
-have not tested mainline pressure tough
-trans mount is secure
-drive shaft is fine

I would remove the TCC solenoid and the remove clean and inspect the tcc valve above it then replace the TCC solenoid

the rearend is the original from 1986.. 10 bolt 2.73:1

i had a fiend tell me to re-do my rearend with a lower gear and it will make a world of difference.. true? like 3.73 or 4.11
