Default to swap or not to swap catted y pipe vs true duals

I am thinking about swapping from my catted TSP y pipe for a set of their 3" true duals. How much horse power will I pick up? The car has a fast 92/92 TSP 2.5 5.3 heads custom ground cam with 230 duration and 600 lift. Would it be worth 10 more horse power to go to the true dual set up? Or just add a cut out to my setup I have now and loose the cats? I also have the LM1 catback with a manaflow bullet no cut out.

im sure a cut out would be about the same gain, you just have to get a tune to make sure the cutout is working properly.

im still trying to decide on the catted y or a custom td setup and i really dont know what to do.

with that crappy merge and the single 2.75" outlet on the y pipe you could pick up a good bit of power

if you had a good merge and a big outlet on the y pipe and some good size pipe behind it it would be a wash

Do you have Long tubes? If not I would be that.

Otherwise I would get the cutouts. Volume on demand and you can close them before you get a headache.
