Default ? about LS6 heads.

The number on the side reads 035. I was just wondering if thats right. My fiends z06 had a different 3 digit number. Anyone know what that number might stand for.

My new "LS6 style" heads from Patriot are 035, the 035 is a 6.0 casting number. If it is one of Patriot's heads, the combustion chamber has been welded up and cnc'd out to a smaller cc.

Casting #035 is a 2002 6.0L casting.

The 6.0 head usually reduces compression. However I understand Patriot is welding the chambers up to decrease the chamber size and thus keep compression up. The 6.0 and LS6 have very similar port designs.

Also Patriot is not requiring a core on the LS6 "style" 6.0 heads. Very interesting on your car Kyle.........
