Default Guys with the Predator Programmer

Hey Guys,
This past friday night at richmond dragstrip ,my 02 SS wasn't performing like before. It wouldn't shift out of first gear (A4 ) when I left the line. I scanned the car with my predator and a code came up ( DTC) . What is DTC ? Once I deleted the code ,my car went back to driving normal. thanks for any tips

When you find the code, go to this website, there is a list of codes here and you can match up yours and find out exactly what the code was for.

http://www.obdii.com/codes.asp

(you need to enter in your email addy for some reason, but then it brings you to a huge code database) ... There are one or two other DTC code centers too, I think LS1info.com might have one, but their site was down.

Ok , the code that came up was PO135 025 Heater Circuit, Bank 1 -Sensor 1 malfunction. So ,I'm thinking it may be my driver side oxygen sensor wire could have gotten burned up by my SLP LT's. I didn't have a chance to check it out today ,but I will get under the car in the morning.

If I remember right, P0135, and P0155 have to do with the O2 sensors not heating up fast enough. Mine do it all the time in the winter. I think the general concensus is that since they are farther from the motor, they take longer to warm. If they are not up to temp within a certain amount of time, then you get the code. It should have had anything to do with shifting though...
