ill update progress pictures when I can, everything is welded with a miller syncrowave 200 Tig, backpurged and some 304 stainless i had laying around the garage.
Hopefully sometime this month ill get some time to do the driverside. Since everything is out, I took the time to install my new Tick Master cylinder too. Hopefully it fixes my shifting issues

besides. the current setup on ther the collector is literally 2 mm away from the serpentine belt. no problems with breaking/snapping deteriorating and i've put bout 6000 miles on the car with it like that.

other ones i've found on the market seem to have some pretty shoddy machining/ very thin lips that i found was a bit unacceptable. Any pointers of where to look for some nice flanges at a decent price ?
i don't really see too much of a problem using them considering the machining is very clean and well fitted. and its got only a tiny bit amount more material. plus i hate using the stamped v-band versions.

There won't be a problem using those flanges at all. I'm picky how I build my stuff and there are aesthetically better looking ones that will do the job just as well. I know where to look but that would be breaking the forum rules. And I agree to stay away from the stamped v-band flanges.
