One blew a hole in the side of the bulb, the ghetto *** bulb blew up on me.
Later that night the other one died.
I only had them for 4 months and I spent almost 40.00 on them, I think they are part of bad bunch, either that or their rigged.
Gotta find that receipt, no way I'm paying 40.00 for 4 months of bulbs.

When installing them, did you touch the glass with your hands? That is the main reason for the bulbs burning out, and exploding...

I took electronics for 3 years in high school, I never touch bulbs because of the oil from human skin. I actually told my buddy who had no idea just so he wouldn't have any issues if he was to purchse a set himself.
Seems like all of the people I know who run them for lowbeams has the same issue but the people who only use them for highbeams have been fine for at least a year.

I did that with a set of Hyperbulbs in my old ladies Jetta - NEVER AGAIN! I needed to buy new headlights! I had purchased the true "HID" bulbs and they fried the harness in the car.
Oh yeah, BTW - you stole my "freebie" clutch

Don't take me for an ***....but....you get what you pay for. I have had PIAA 4300k superwhites for a year now with no trouble. $80 is alot, but not when you have to get new headlight housings. My cousin got off-brand $40 lights and one blew after 2 months. Some things you just HAVE to get the best.

I'm running the Sylvania Sivlerstars in my car. I've had them for about 2 months now, so far so good.
Before that I had some cheapos that I bought on Ebay that lasted about 8 months.
I'm thinking about switching to the Sylvania Silverstar Cool Blue... I liked the blueish tint the cheapo Ebay bulbs had.
Anyone here running the Silverstar Cool Blue?
