so you guys think lossing dod and swaping lifters is worth it? or should i just stick with the 1.8?
they seem to work with the dod on the g8 but i guess thats cause its a totally different engine?

I have the Harland Sharp 1.8 rockers and they work just fine with DOD. I have had them on my car since about 40,000 and have had no problems. (I'm at 99,500 miles). I would recommend that if you do the rockers to also install stiffer springs and stronger push rods. At first I had only installed the rockers and I did have valve float. I have the Comp Camps Hi-Tech push rods and 918 springs. Here is a thread showing one of the first people to do this: https://ls1tech.com/forums/ls4-front...tall-pics.html

You folks who claim there is no problem with them do know the OP is NOT talking about 1.8 ratio rockers, but 1.9, right? You all followed his link before commenting I assume.

Also when getting ride of DOD/AFM you will use a different valley cover, which also opens up the intake mani options.
That would be the quickest route to swapping intakes to an LS1 or LS6 intake.

Yes I know the OP is talking about the 1.9 rockers. I have been in contact with zzp about this....the monte is running the 1.9 with stock springs and everything is fine with the dod lifters as well. I am guess brcause these are modified stockers is why everything is working fine.
