Default posi or mini spool?

well i have a question i have seen what the difference between a full and mini spool is, but now am wondering how bad would it be to run a mini spool on the street? from my understanding of a posi, you have clutches which allow some different axle rotation speeds but a mini spool doesnt right? looks to me also that a spool would be stronger and have less parts to break ie spider gears..i see everyone goes with a posi, but i just curious as to if this can be improved upon...

oh yea this is a M6 driver ------->
this is an A4 driver --------->

Mini spools tend to "explode" under street conditions. The stress on the spool is tremendous. I've seen several rear differential covers with holes where the mini spool exited the rear axle. If you drive it, I wouldn't do it. If you race it, and feel you need a spool, buy a full spool. Mini spools are ok for dirt track cars...that's about it.
