pro 5.0 camaro shifter i got a noob question, i got a 5.0 shifter off of ebay but when i go to install it the shifter has over hang and the shifter is backwards. will it still work..need help or did they send the wrong short throw shifter...

never mind it fit and it was the right one called guy i got it from and it just has a little over lap on the right side dude said it was normal and i just put it in and it fit
