Infiniti 62.9i ok, so my girlfriend bought a two pairs of the Infiniti 62.9i speakers for my birthday today... are these even going to fit into my car (2002 z28) without replacing the monsoon amp with a 4-channel amp?! please correct me if i'm wrong, but i have a feeling that im going to have to end up buying a 4channel amp and rewiring all of it!! thanks for any advice!

im assuming those are 6.5 components. if so, since you have a camaro you will have to custom mount the front tweeters somehow, and custom mount the speakers in the rear which are 4" components. your speakers should come with a crossover which you can use in the front to send power from the wires you currently have to the tweeters and the mids. shouldn't have to rewire anything. a 4 channel amp would make them sound better but they will still sound good with monsoon.
