Default RIP Tim Waters PigPen

I lost contact with Tim over summer, I had started a new job so wasnt back in Houston to much, tried calling him the last time home and his number didn't work. Did a search for his good friend Jim, and found a post on moto Houston that he passed away in July in a Bike accident. Most the old school HFB guys know him and knew his old 93 Z28. I learned a **** ton about cars from him, he always helped me with my Trans Am and I learned so much about cars from him. This sucks, not the news I wanted to hear. Kind of in shock, I wish he would have never fucked with those stupid ******* bikes and just finished his damn car. None of this **** would have happened.

I remember hangin out with Tim at all the OLD meets. We got in the lane next to him a few times out at the Starbucks and Service meets. Deffinitly a good old dude. Heard about this a while back. Never can predict why God pulls em. Just know he was needed up there more....

It's a sad day when a community looses one of the good ones, RIP.

I was really sad to find out this morning. I met Tim 10 yrs ago. We had only kept in touch here and there over the past few years. I'm glad we got a chance to catch up earlier last summer. He will be missed.

sucks to hear this. as ive met Tim a few times in the past along with his buddy with the turbo 1968 camaro. really a shocker as the guy seemed like a genuinely nice guy. remember reading a thread a few months ago about him selling his 93 z28.

Tim bought that 68 from Jim so Jim could start on an early 2nd gen project. I'm glad I got a chance to see before he went last summer at Ottos, just sucks because he was such a good guy. Just a really kind hearted person, this first time I met him back in 2002 was to buy a 1le a/c delete pulley, I remember not being able to find his house. So the next day we meet up at Frys on Westheimer and he buys my lunch, part wasn't but $20. I feel bad for his daughter, not really getting a chance to know what an awesome guy her dad was.

I rode with him on several occasions and he was a good rider on a bike. He went down in a bad corner on top side of 3090, seen a lot of people go down in that particular corner that got him. Went to his funeral but couldnt walk in, was there a couple months before his for another friend that got killed on a bike also. I remember him from both boards, and still a member of MH
