sorry thats what i ment better off with the D1SC than the D1. why do they offer both then? who would get one with an oil feed line if you dont need it.

ProCharger does not offer the D1 as a model for the LT1 and LS1 f body's. The self contained models are the only ones that are offered. Bob

They do offer both for P1 and D1. just not for the LS1 or LT1 cars as was said by bob

I think they used to sell them for the fbody at one time, but they dont anymore. Maybe someone can verify this.. I didnt see and regular non SC models on prochargers site for LT1 or LS1 cars..

Besides the oil line there is a difference in the step up ratio D1 4.44:1 D1sc 4.1:1 The bracket is also different. I have a LT1 f-body bracket for a D1.

You are correct, I do remember reading about the difference in ratios between the D1 & D1SC, I had the D1 on my LT1 not the D1SC...They might not make them now but they did sometime ago...

I know this is an old post. But this is the only thing I can find close to what I'm looking for. I bought a d1 Not d1sc and I'm trying to figure out how to make it work on my ls1. My friend sold me it for cheap so i couldnt pass it up. I see some people saying they have used them and found brackets. Anyone confirm this? Or know where I can find a bracket? Any info at all would be great. Thank you!

Bob at Brutespeed can help you out. You'll need to tap at the oil filter for the feed and run a line to the oil pan. The only is with an f-body just like a turbo is that due to the low mounting you may need to sump the return. A y-body wouldn't have an issue.

ProCharger has never made a bracket to fit the older D1 blowers on the LS engines. You would be much better off to start with a P-1SC or a D-1SC. Bob
