Default Will I throw a code for slipping transmission?

Just wondering if a code will show if the trans is slipping? My dad called me up today and said he took my car out and the trans was slipping. The last time I drove my car was about 2 weeks ago, I was ripping on it pretty hard and felt a slight slip twice before I parked it but didnt think much of it. I have the 16,000 original mile 4L60E with a Yank SS3600 so Im a little surprised at this but I know stock 4L60E's are junk, been there done that. No codes are shown and not sure about the fluid level but he said he saw a very small amount of fluid on the ground. I was not running a trans cooler for the 3,000-5,000 miles I ran that converter because I was dumb and completely forgot about it so that might be a reason as well. Just trying to get some ideas since I'm not home and able to diagnose it myself. Thanks.

You could get a code like P0757, where the PCM sees RPMs higher than normal for the selected gear and throws an SES. My car gets that code often with an SS4000 if I use OD too much. Could it also be the higher stall converter making it feel like a slipping trans?

If hes not used to the stall that may be what he is feeling and on the code someties yes sometimes no

PO757 is a comon code with a stall and can be easily remedied by disabling the test for the code,

I'm 100% used to the stall, it slipped for me more than normal and my dad said it slipped quite bad and hes pretty used to the car as well.

6 speed will be much harder on the rear end. If you plan to put a sticky tire on it all ever even with stock power you will probably need a rear end. With an auto the stock rear generally will handle 400 hp with no problem. Another down side to the 6 speed.
