Default 2010 Camaro superchargers?

Based on price it looks like the RS is the way to go. What aftermarket supercharger options are there?

Guess it'll depend on what kind of hood space is available atop the intake manifold. If there isn't alot of room, I imagine centri blowers and turbo kits will be more popular. But if there's sufficient space, or if some good cowl hoods come into the market, then a twin screw option would be sweet.

I don't have any specific info on what's available at the moment for the upcoming Camaro, but I'd imagine you could look into the Vette section to see what the LS3 guys are doing and what kits they currently have available.

I know, that wasn't all that helpful.

The Aussies have been placing some sweet twin turbo systems on some of their Commadores and Monaros...they would be nice on our Maros!!!

Oh yah they are! I talked to them a few weeks ago and got on thier "BETA" program. I have a few customers dying to do it as soon as thier cars come in.

I'd be suprised if Magna-Charger didnt offer something as well.

^He might be. A FI, DI V6 would be a mean street machine.

However, I certainly don't think that's "the way to go." I'll take a white/white cloth Kenne Bell 1SS, please. A KB LS3 would be out of sight.

Buying a V6 just to Force Induct it would completely negate the the money you save buying a V6, OP.

The LS series has proven time and time again, to get great HP gains easily by just doing headers, exhaust, CAI and tune, among others

I would love APS to do a Twin Turbo Kit. Their systems looks very nicely made.

FI is not a good idea for an engine with 10.9:1 comp. ratio. Just my opinion. It might be good for a while but not for long.

it'll be fine as long as ya dont get stingy on the boost. Keep it around 6-8 with a good tune and it'll run like that for years.

Even at 8lbs the Iat's get a little to high for comfort. It would not be good for your average driver. You would start cutting back the life of your engine pretty fast from the get go. why would you want that? for the price of that you could have built motor, and put down just as much.

That is over simplifying things a little. If you are having troubles at 8lbs get some meth injection or a better intercooler.

the rods n pistons may be too weak despite having good air/fuel and low iat's.

be interesting to see how far someone can push one though.
