Default abbott speedometer adapter-4l80e

i got my aabott speedometer adapter yesterday, and was wondering if someone had a 4l80e apart, i need to know how many teeth are on the ring that the rear sensor reads-then i have to figure out how many revolutions my tire does in a mile-i guess i can measure my rollout, convert that to feet or something, and do the math-or somebodys in for a lot of walking and counting, lol
i also have to fig out the neg side of the sensor, prob can do that with an ohm meter i hope

Yep it is 40 teeth. One wire is low signal and the other is high. I think the sensor is grounded to the case.

Here's a link that will help with the calculations.

And maybe this thread has some helpful info...

I'm having some issues calibrating my own speedo with a 4L80 and Compushift controller. I will probably end up having to get a re-calibration box like the Abbott, but I was looking at the Dakota Digital one....

Just curious what kind of speedo you are running?
