While I have not put enough miles on the new transmission to really comment on the longevity or durability of the new level 2 4l60e and 9" 2800 stall I bought from Frank at Performabuilt, I have plenty of experience with the company as a whole.

Hands down, Performabuilt is the most wholly dedicated, absolutely customer-centric business that I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with, automotive related or otherwise. Of course, giving credit where credit is so obviously due, I must acknowledge Frank publicly for this.

Nowhere have I dealt with somebody who seemed so entirely willing to answer every stupid little question I could come with, no matter how trivial it may have seemed if posted on a forum. He's available at the most ungodly of hours to talk shop or answer questions or even to just shoot the ****.

There are not enough kind words to express my gratitude for helping me troubleshoot my first transmission install and for the support and assistance in choosing the perfect product for me. At the moment, I am an extremely pleased customer. If the transmission only holds up HALF as good as Frank's service, it's STILL going to last longer than the car I put it in.

i ordered a stage 2 with a 3kstall almost 2 years ago and i put about 5k miles. it works perfectly and this trans is going in my brothers grand national. he plans to make 600-700rwhp and we aint worried about breaking it. he traded me his built 400 for my ls1swap.

yeah frank is online at some weird hours I have had some problems with my personal builds and have had to inqure at around 1 am

Frank spent time today answering my newbie questions on stall speed for my TQ, i'm sure he answered these same questions thousands of times....and still took his time to make sure i was comfortable with the explanation I also see him on threads here answering and helping people all day long

Frank answered my panicked call from the side of the road. Can't beat that with a stick.

BTW the problem was caused by my cooler lines, not his trans. I got that off the road so quick when I saw smoke it was really amazing to me.

Crisis averted. I still have my trans.

Definitely...I just finished ordering my Level-2/Stall combo and Frank was Johnny on the Spot. I fudged the order page and got over-charged (totally my fault, nothing to do with PerformaBuilt) and before I had time to rip out my first handful of hair, Frank emailed me saying he saw what happened and was already fixing it. I was floored by the immediate responses and customer service, he made it clear that he's there to take care of ya...if that tranny is half as cool as Frank is, I'm going to buy it a beer instead of installing it.
