Default ported throttle body?

Im about to put headers/exhaust on my car and im wanting to just do basic bolt ons to my car. I've been looking into the ported throttle body. I've searched on here and im kind of lost regarding the ported throttle body aspect. Will i haffta upgrade intake? or upgrade anything else? Also what size tb should i go with. Obviously the faster the better . But dont wanat spend an arm and a leg either. Thanks for teh input.

There are several good sponsors here that can do your stock tb. Janzter is one as well as silverghost. Nothing to change after its done. Just bolt it back up and feel the power

For your sake get a stocker ported by a sponsor. Many have core charges so you can just ship yours in once you get the "new" one in the mail.

get your stock one ported, by a sponsor or someone that you know can do it good..

if i were you, id do that and an ls6 intake at the same time (and a lid if you dont have it) with the free ram air.... should set you up pretty good on your intake side..

No offense to New Era for their porting, but I've seen/reported a few of their TB's before. The finish work is excellent (better than mine), but they leave a LOT of material in there.

Shaner has a great rep on here and has done a LOT of ported TBs. Same with Bo White.

I hate to say it but Jantzer does good work but has a track record of the worst customer service imagineable. That being said he's selling his stuff through vendors now which takes him out of the picture basically so it's all good.
