Florida Members - LETS GET A MEET GOING! Gainesville Raceway Feb 7.

I thought the second to last test and tune for the winter would be a perfect time to get a LS1tech meet going. Not too many cars at the track because its not the last one (Which is usually packed) and the weather should be good. So what does everyone say?

Plus for those who know me I may have a little surprise...... :D:angel: Hehehehe.....

And I cant make the TT this Saturday and Im not telling why:secret2:

I remember a tech guy telling me when I first got my Z28 and it didnt have a hold down to either get a hold down or get zip ties

Cmon surely getting a few laps in and hanging out appeals to a few people enough to make the trek down here.

Perhaps I'll be alright then. I def. want to run this thing now that I've gone back to 3.42s and got the valvetrain sorted out. Could have been worse but it was a $500 opps day when I ran it at Bradenton a few months back.:lol:

Cant decide what to do. I want run my new toy but it wont run real good as it sits due to a knock sensor problem but i really wanna make a run down the track. I havent run in months :mad:

Won't be making the trek to any away races yet as I'm still trying to get dialed back in on the Nova, plus we have our first "No Box" race the 28th of this month. Then Super Chevy at PBIR first full weekend of March, and I'll probably do the NMCA race in Bradenton at the end of March.

Let's just say that on my next 2 passes after your advice, I broke my best of 11.95 with an 11.81 and then an 11.87.

So thanks for the advice man.

Running an 11.81 tells me that the car might have 11.7's in it.
Not bad for cam only uh? :D

Once I get the heads put on, things should get interesting.

BTW, it was a pleasure finally seeing the Nova run. You drive the shit outta that thing.
