Any Farmers insurance agents?
I'm looking for anyone who's a Farmers insurance agent,
or has a really good agent they can recommend. I have
reason to believe I can save a good bit of money with a
switch to Farmers, but with a million agents out there, I
prefer not to roll the dice when picking one.
I'm in the greater Houston area, if it makes a difference?
Thanks!

The wind policy will be included depending on where you live. A coastal county will require a pool policy. I moved from CC to Victoria a while back and that's what I was told. It's now all one policy in Victoria, 2 separate in Nueces county.
FWIW I just switched from farmes and saved about $1500/year. Their homeowners is priced pretty well, but there auto is totally out of whack.

i just changed from farmers to state farm. they gave me a better rate w/half the deductable farmers had for me.
farmers price: $420 w/a 1000 deductable which they never told me had changed until a week ago.
price was for my 07 RangeRover, 05 escalade, and 01 SS
state farms price: $345 same vehicles but with a 500 deduct.
btw im 24 so my rate compared to a 30yr old should be higher according to the ins. companies i spoke to.

Hell I would even go with Geico. I was just comparing rates today, and for EVERYTHING I currently have with Farmers, it would be $54 less a month w/Geico. Currently 152 w/Famers, and $98 if I switched to Geico, and my deductable would go from 500 to 250. Progressive was slightly higher at $109. I am 26 with almost a perfect driving record. A few months ago some jackass ran me into a barrier... it was minor damage (just cosmetic) and I was not at fault. I'm sure they'll still try to count it against me though.
Oh, and I've been with Farmers for over 11 years. LOL.
