Default No love for the LS9?

We got stickies on every other LSx motor except the poor LS9. Anyone got the specs on the most powerful SBC ever made?

Stickies are like FAQs, and there aren't enough people on here with them to ask any questions about an LS9 with any frequency at all. I've seen one, maby two people on here who have a new ZR1.

Anyway, it's a mega-expensive LS3 with a blower. What more do you need to know? Google it.

There's a sponsor on the Corvette forum selling the LS9 crate motor for $21K.

Anyway, it's a mega-expensive LS3 with a blower. What more do you need to know? Google it.
Even though the displacement is the same, the block and internals are different and substantially upgraded. Google it.

I must not have realized that the LS7 market is so huge. That must be a super cheap crate motor since its in the stickies.

The LS7 is listed everywhere but the LS9 only gets a lil sub title right before you enter the GEN VI internal section. So like I said there is no love for the LS9.

Most people that can afford something like that don't go tearing into it to change the cam shaft or polish the heads.

I would imagine that most zr1 owners are leaving them relatively stock.

Thus with no demand for the knowledge, why waste time making a sticky?

Well, there ARE people who spend the cash only to bring it home and rip the heads off and pull the cam out, have it on the dyno w/ temp plates. I know I have done it quite a few times. If not for dealer greed, we would already see a heavily modded 9sec ZR1, I know this for a fact
