Unhappy Mustang guys I need your help (small leak)

Hey guy we have a 04 mustang GT and there is a small leak coming from a bolt or (plug) before the drive shaft . The bolt is on the driver side of the trans. Can I remove the bolt without lossing all the fluid so i replace the bolt or put some kind of sealer?

If the bolt or plug is on the case you will loose very very little fluid there

Removing that plug will not result in any loss of fluid. It's simply a plug for a hole that is no longer used. The o-ring on the other side of that plug will need to be replaced. It is causing the leak.

Yes thats where the speedo drive went on some cars, You could actually just take it off clean good and use silicone and put it back its not a presure area, Just a cover.
