BJ checked out mentally after the first round...could see it in his face. Really dissapointed that a future hall of famer, and professional at that level would give up, but he did. I know he was frustrated but people at that level never quit...lost a lot of respect for him as was my favorite.
They are saying that a GSP - Anderson Silva fight is a distinct possibility...don't think GSP could beat Anderson..IMO.

So glad I didn't waste money on that junk last night. I got the affliction card last week and the whole time I was thinking, "why can't ufc put on a show like this." Zone, I'm not sure why you think the main event was such a badass fight unless your are a huge GSP fan, IMO it was one of the weakest main events in UFC history.

GSP's next fight is very likely vs. Thiago Alves at an unknown date and Anderson Silva is vs. Thales Leites this April in Montreal, Canada.
I know GSP has talked about it before, I just dont think its worth the risk.

During the rest periods in between rounds the camera spotted GSP's cornerman rubbing vaseline on his shoulders and back...this obviously would account for some of the reason the BJ could not get hold of him off his back. Would cause some issues for sure, but BJ was a pus in this fight...dissapointed.
