Default SDCE bracket or COG set up for F1A 6spd street car?

SDCE bracket or COG set up for F1A 6spd street car? I will only be runnning 14-16 lbs.(825+rwhp) I do not want any belt issues. I also dont want to change the belt every month. I know turbos is the way to go. I have heard alot of good things about the SDCE bracket. So if anybody has either of these set ups please chim in and help me with any info. Thank you

I am running a COG setup with my F1R/F2 street car 6speed setup. If I had an F1A I would run the SDCE. You can run a cog setup with an M6 if you have the ATI SuperPulley on the blower. Think if it as the rear freewheel on a bicycle. It accelerates with increased engine RPM but let off the gas and it freewheels and coasts down. This will save a cog/M6 setup and is great for keeping boost between shifts cause it doesn't have to work to spin the impeller through it's entire range to come back up to speed.

My sdce works great....doesn't slip at all at 16 psi with stock heads (3.4 blower pulley)........as soon as I get heads, I am going to max out my D1sc with a 3.0 reichard pulley and 7.25 crank pulley

jeremym You need to talk to Bob at EPP believe me he will help you out big time.

With your 414ci and F1A I'm sure the car carn get high 700 low 800 rwhp on pump gas
and I dont thing you need COG setup with that boost.

You worry to much about belt slipping if the install was done right you wont see any belt slip.

I have a freind with D1SC and crappy 6rip pulley and he's not seeing any belt slipping.

Just go for it I wanna see that with F1A Cough"" Video"" Cough

You can't go wrong with the SDCE set up. Too bad they still owe tech advertising fees.

The SDCE will be fine. We run the stock style 8 rib setup on F1a and F1c setups with no slip.

I have been using the bracket since 05. Used it with a P1SC and now with a D1SC. Pricey but its one of those things where you only have to do it once to get it right.

I am running it with no issues, with a F1a before that was with the D1.
I managed to install it with a 7.625 crank pulleyl, was not to crazy about the 7.25 crank pulley, Running a 3.7 on the blower. Still waiting on a tune so no Idea at the moment what the max psi is at.

Well, I'm going to the COG since I'm running track only and loose coverter auto. Haven't put it up for sale yet, but I'll let my 12 rib setup with 2 new belts go for about half of what the SDCE goes for... You'd just have to make your own standoffs. Just throwin another option out there.
