Default Project LT1 Camaro Build....

Its been a long time since I have been active on these boards, but thought Id come back and do a little show and tell of the camaro.

Ive had the camaro since 05 (after many others) and started off bone stock 1 owner car.

I said I was leaving this one alone...never happened. After doing bolt ons and weight reductions etc, the car hit 12s very comfortably on a consistant basis.

Now its in a million pieces, completely stripped and ready for a hefty build.
Going with a 396 build, would be happy to see comfortable 10s.

to now this (about 2 months ago):

So not only is it undergoing a completely make-over comestic wise, but will finally get complete suspension, new trans, rear end, motor, interior, wheels/tires etc. Im hoping it will be done this year and I will get to make some events up in the northern il area, but who knows at this rate because of time.

Im still undecided with what seats I want to go with. I have racing seats already that I like the look of, but still looking into the other idea i talked to you about . I'll keep ya posted.

I definitely want it back on the road. Actually Id be happy to have it back in my garage where I could start it lol. Its currently an hour and 20 min away from me at my dad's place so we can work on it. Im going to be happy if it sees the road by july this year.

I really thought about going the FI route, but everyone here does FI and Im going to see what I can do NA. May work the 3rd gen to be an FI car.

Hey Tony

Tons of work to do.....would be much easier if I had some time to work on it. But it will get done eventually.
