I am trying to build a fuel system that will support 600hp plus. I want to use my stock tank with external pumps and was wondering if this arrangement will work?
From the stock 3/8 pickup use a 'T' fitting, one side goes to the 'in' side of the pump, the other side goes to the 'out' side of my pressure regulator. I also want to know what the pros and cons are between using 2 pumps inline (hooked up in series) or 2 pumps into a 'Y' fitting ( hooked up in parallel )
I'd also like to know if I can use one pump as my primary pump, and have the second one triggered by a pressure switch.
I allready have a pair of Walbro 255 hp pumps, (for external mounting) and am running 1/2 inch fuel line to the fuel rail, and 3/8 fuel line back to the 'T' for the return line.
